... that we went to the Adamson Family Reunion?

In June, we packed up for a road trip to the birthplace of the Adamson family: Pasco, Washington.

I had heard of this magical place for years, but never actually visited until now! And it was everything I thought it would be... plus a few hundred degrees. We went out to the old family farm and finally saw the old farmhouse that Grandpa Adamson cut in half to move. We spent most of our time together at the local church building, since there were too many Adamsons to meet at the house!

We had a slip n slide day on the church lawn,

Horseback rides with Hailey,

Matt tried wake surfing for the first time,

A family talent show in which Matt and I sang "A Whole New World," but Matt insisted that he sing Jasmine's part,

And lots of time with Grandma.

There were also hours and hours of volleyball tournaments, a midnight run to Taco Bell, breakfast at Cousins (I was SO happy when Tracy agreed that the continental breakfast at the Sleep Inn was sub par hahahahaha!), a testimony meeting, s'mores, shakes at Sonic, and a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house where we saw their beautiful garden and the infamous canal where Grandpa George almost went swimming.

On the way out of town, we got to stop by Pulse's grave with Justus in the 100 degree Pasco weather. And I was a good wife and only complained a little bit.

We decided to split up our drive home and spend the night in Boise, where we were able to stay in the apartment that Matt's firm owns. We got up early and had an awesome breakfast at The Griddle

And had a relaxing drive home. I love family reunions!!!
