... that we went to Taiwan: Day 6

Let's just say that the day after Toroko, we all just needed a little break. Especially Jeremy, who apparently was allergic to something he ate:

 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm the only one who can feel justified laughing at this picture because normally I am the one with the crazy allergic reactions, so it's only fair! He was so miserable that we only made fun of him a little bit hahahahahahahaha!

He didn't want to go out anywhere, so Kell came out with Matt and me to run a few everyday errands with mom. Our first stop was a walk to the steamed bun stand

These guys just make pork steamed buns by the boat load all day long every day! We had to admit that (like everything else in Asia) it probably would have been better not to see exactly how it was made... but it didn't stop us from getting a whole bag!

They were DELICIOUS. Next stop was mom's favorite vegetable stand with the friendliest ladies you ever saw.

Spotted this sign on the wall of a shop as we were passing:

You get me, Taiwan.

Next, we walked all the way back to where the bun place was to get us all orange passionfruit drinks. And it was a good thing that these drinks were also delicious, because I was just about ready to have a melt down by this point. It's not my fault!!!!! No one should live in a place that hot all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made our way back home and took it easy for a while, and then it was time for something that we had all been waiting for for several days: Taiwanese Costco!!!

We had been planning a Costco run for days and I could not WAIT for Costco pizza!!! Real food!!!!!!! I AM AN AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then we discovered that they don't even have pepperoni pizza in Taiwan because no one will eat it and the "Canadian bacon" on their Hawaiian pizza is some type of crazy Asian mystery meat. Costco FAIL. I'll get over it. Someday.

We consoled ourselves by finally going to the waffle stand that mom and dad had been talking about for days, but that was never open when we went there. Oh, and Jeremy was finally back to normal too hahahahahahahahaha!

We love Costco, but mostly we love America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
