... that I LOOOOOOOVE CANCUN?????

Seriously.  SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!

The most BEAUTIFUL beaches I have ever seen.  And I am picky about beaches.

This was hanging in one of the little outside restaurants.  Classic misinterpretation.  Unless this is really referring to a severely antisocial person, who is unfotunately forced to "word" with other people.

Cutter had fun at the kid's club

Just one of the several gorgeous pools

Matt's favorite part (obviously):

Matt's actual favorite part: unlimited free pina coladas!!!

This place was seriously INCREDIBLE.  Only one caution: don't squirt lime juice in your eye while eating delicious nachos.

I love Cancun!!!

... that we are champion road trippers?

Blick Family vacation means that for the second weekend in a row, we were taking another 12 hour road trip!!!  Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaykillme!  I brought some stuff in the car to keep me entertained:

I had to get ready for the beach people!  One great thing about going to So Cal is we get to break the trip up with a little stop in Vegas!  We made it to the Williams' just in time for Party Night!  Which consisted of:

A trip to WINCO and new toys:

Plus candy and a show on the "party blanket" in true Harrison fashion.
These little goobers are just aborable.

The best part of the night by far was I got to hold baby Norah!!!

Just two and a half weeks old, she is so so so precious!  Points to us for being Best Aunt and Uncle, we were the first Harrisons to visit her!  I just held her for hours while she slept on my chest.  This is probably my favorite thing to do in the whole world!

We were a little lazy the next morning, eating breakfast, watching Wreck It Ralph, and playing with the bubble machine (the other toy from Party Night).

Then it was on the road home!  And of course, a stop at the Hat on the way!  I asked Matt what he wanted for dinner, and he casually mentioned that he could eat a burger.  Then he calmly asked me what the name of that place was that we went for Jeremy's Birthday.  And I knew.  He wanted a pastrami burger.

Pure joy.  I was pretty happy too.

World's largest chili cheese fries.  Good thing I didn't agree to Matt's "Maybe you should get a burger with your fries."

Then it was a little Blick family time before we left for Mexico!

Being reverent in church

Practicing our Jedi moves

And a few personal snapshots from our family photo shoot.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

My pics aren't quite as good as the professional pics here (check out the link, they're way aborable!), but whatevs.

Then it was off to Cancun!

... that Henry got married?!?!?!

This was one of the happiest days ever.

After a relaxing morning and a little bit of garage sale-ing with Aunt Jill, Uncle Denny, and Denae, Matt and I headed out to Oakland for Henry and Marilee's sealing!  I love the Oakland Temple!  It was the first temple I ever attended a sealing at, and it is beautiful!  Matt and I walked around the temple grounds and took a few pics while we were waiting for the sealing to start

After the sealing, waiting for the happy couple:

This picture was only possible after I yelled at Matt for these pictures:

Anyway, the gorgeous bride and groom finally came out!

Have you ever seen a happier face?

The gorgeous sister of the bride and our good friend Lucinda!

After a few pictures, we ran back to Jill and Denny's house to get ready for the dinner and reception.  Henry and Marilee's wedding was "Mad Men" themed, so obviously I knew I would need a costume.  I have never watched that show before, but Google helped me figure out that basically it means "60s."  I accidentally waited till Tuesday night to go to DI, but I found THE PERFECT DRESS.  I was so stoked!  But it didn't quite fit me... so I ended up spending all of Tuesday night and stayed up till 3:00 in the morning Wednesday night (the night before we left at 7:00 in the morning to drive to SF... oops) making this dress fit me.
And it was totally worth it.

This dress turned out AWESOME.  Henry loved it and their photographer said it was totally "Mad Men."  I could not not have been happier!

We rushed to the wedding dinner, which was at a great restaurant on the Embarcadero called Perry's.

The food was incredible and the restaurant looked out onto the Bay Bridge.  Perfect.

The reception was a big party at our old ward church building.  It was so good to see tons of old friends, catch up, and get our dance on!!

We spent pretty much the whole evening with two goofballs we met at the dinner, the sons of a family that has befriended Henry and Marilee.  This kid (who reminded me of a friend I had in college)

And his brother

HILARIOUS.

Sending off the newlyweds

A great day, an awesome wedding, a fantastic trip.  Congratulations Henry!!!  We love you!

... that we LOVE SAN FRANCISCO???????

Last weekend, we got to go back to SF for Henry's wedding!!!  I was so excited I could hardly contain myself!  We were both able to get Thursday and Friday off, so we left early Thursday morning to get as much city time as we could.  Matt insisted that we all stop at Imlay on our way.  Oh, you've never heard of Imlay?

An artistic tribute to the suffering of Native Americans.  This is Matt's idea of a rest stop.  "Enter at Your Own Risk."  Yes, that is a baby tied to a tree.  Two words: Cree Py.

Anyway, we finally made it to the City!  After a quick dinner at Chevy's (a fave of Matt's) and dropping off Renee with her boyfriend friend person she went to visit, we dropped by good ole' San Carlos to spend the night.  I was so grateful Steph offered to let us stay, because it meant more time with these monkeys!!!

And I was able to meet Baby Monkey for the first time!

Soooo adorable!  I love these little Mandle girls!!!  We spent the morning doing all sorts of girly stuff, like our hair and makeup

And our nails

And then it was time to go.  Poor Fiona didn't understand why I wasn't spending the whole day with her.  I was so sad to leave!  But it was time to head up to the city to spend a little time with my other baby!

This little boy is SO BIG NOW!!!!!  He kept scooting closer and closer to me during lunch and everytime he leaned over to say something to me, he would reach out and grab my arm to make sure I was paying attention to him.  And I got to meet his new baby sister too!  We had a great lunch at Osha, obviously.  So so great :)

We spent some time visiting a few more friends in the city and Matt even let me do a little tiny bit of shopping, then it was off to Aunt Jill's house for family BBQ!  So fun.  We ended the night with facepainting, a boys trip to the creek to catch frogs, and a play entitled "Spiderman and a Vampire Defeat Lizard Man" or something like that.

Good times.

I love family and friends and SF!!!!!

... that Matt is the best?

My work has been really stressful lately.  Since Debbi left, I've been doing her job AND my job, and it is ROUGH.

The other day I came home from a particularly bad Monday at work, and right away Matt said, "We need to cheer you up!  Let's go get a treat!!"  I told him I wanted to go to Gourmandise, this awesome bakery in Salt Lake that I haven't been to in years, and off we went!

A piece of flourless chocolate cake and slice of passion fruit cheesecake later, I was in much better spirits :)

I love this man.  He would do anything to make me happy.  He is the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful man I know.  I feel so lucky to have him in my life forever.

I love Matt!!!!!!!

... that I love Georgia?

Being an aunt is the best.

"Don't take my picture."

"Wait, is that you Momma?"

"Okay, I'll make a normal face now."

I love little Georgia!!!
